about Mama Kate
Pastor Kate Sumrall has always been passionate about investing into the next generation. Her love for children and education led her to acquire her bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Southern Mississippi, and she is currently working on a MAR in Biblical Studies from Liberty University. Under her leadership, ITOWN Church has developed a world class children’s ministry, created a homeschool class program, and launched a Christ-centered preschool program.
Kate and her husband, Dave, have 6 children from toddler to teenager. Dave and Kate launched ITOWN Church in 2010, for the purpose of helping people move in their spiritual journey from where they are, to where God has called them to be. When not spending time at church, you might find them camping as a family, working out together, or playing basketball with their children.
